Apurva Shah, M.D., M.P.H., 
Board Certified - Internal Medicine Dr. Shah is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and holds a Masters in Public Health from the University of South Florida. He holds certifications from the ECFMG and ACLS and has extensive training in geriatrics, hypertension, diabetes, heart failure, HIV, and obesity. Dr. Shah is originally from Bombay, India where he received his Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Mumbai. Dr. Shah later moved to the United States to further his medical education and received his Masters in Public Health from Tampa's own, University of South Florida. Dr. Shah received his MD in Internal Medicine at Our Lady Mercy Medical Center in New York. He is fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujurati and speaks some Spanish. Dr. Shah Specializes in Geriatric and Diabetic Care and focuses on a holistic approach with a strong emphasis on preventative medicine. His preventative approach ensures patients receive all necessary screenings with extensive follow-up. He always takes the extra time to review his patients' complete health history and prides himself on being very open minded, and is often open to exploring alternative protocols. He enjoys building a trusting relationship with his patients and understands the importance of their comfort while visiting his office.
