Vestibular Rehab SpecialistFlorida licensed Physical TherapistDr. Jonadab Uzoho is Board Certified in Family Practice specializing in Balance Diagnostic Assessments and is a Florida licensed Physical Therapist. He is a specialist in the field of balance studies and rehabilitation and combines licensure and extensive clinical experience in Physical Therapy and Board Certification in Family Medicine with more than 12 years in the field of Balance Dysfunction. Dr. Uzoho is currently developing a Fall Prevention and Balance Center focused on comprehensive diagnostic medical assessment and treatment of balance and mobility problems. He employs an outcome focused program that relies on a well executed physical therapy program key to the recovery and treatment of balance and mobility problems and the prevention of falls. Working with the latest technological developments in diagnostic equipment, Dr Uzoho utilizes a multidisciplinary team of local neurologists, specially trained physical therapists, and specialists to provide the most complete, comprehensive diagnostic assessment testing, treatment and rehabilitation available anywhere. A licensed Physical Therapist since 1991, Dr. Uzoho holds certifications in balance dysfunction and rehabilitation from the American Institute of Balance, certification in Neuromuscular Development Technique (NDT), and Movement Opportunity Via Education (MOVE). Dr. Uzoho is also seeing patients providing complete family care, and home health visits, as well sports medicine and rehabilitation. Dr. Uzoho has a special interest in Geriatrics & Preventative Medicine and has attended seminars and given speeches on Fall Prevention in the Elderly. Dr. Uzoho also developed a special interest in community health while participating in medical missions to third world countries and also as part of a DOWAP research team project in Dayton Ohio, which studied the effects of proper nutrition and exercise in inner city obese children. Other areas of interest include Women’s Health, Adolescent and Geriatric Medicine, and Occupational Medicine. Dr. Uzoho Graduated from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his undergraduate work with a BS in Biology at the University of South Florida where he graduated with honors. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Ibadan in Oyo, Nigeria. A Local resident, he was born in Nigeria and is now a US Citizen and also speaks Ibo. In his spare time, Dr. Uzoho enjoys reading, playing soccer, and traveling. Dr. Uzoho currently practices out of the Doctors at Home, LLC Cortez office located at 11479 Cortez Blvd, Brooksville, FL 34613 in Hernando County.
