Dhammika Ekanayake, M.D.
 Board Certified - Internal Medicine
Dr. Ekanayake is board certified in internal medicine and has been practicing as a primary care physician with Access Healthcare since April of 2007. He received his medical education from the University of Colombo, a premier medical school in Sri Lanka. While attending he won several awards including the most outstanding student in biological science in the national examination. He did his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York and also served as a mentor at the same location for 2 years for Ivy League medical students. He has been practicing since 2002 and is currently a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Ekanayake holds special interests in Geriatric Care, Hypertension, Diabetes, Stroke, Heart Disease, Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Gastrointestinal Disease, Genitourinary Disease, Asthma, Emphysema, Neurological Disorders, Lupus, and Depression/Anxiety Disorders. He has also received extensive experience from prior positions in the care of clinic and hospital patients as well as managing emergency room patients.
Dr. Ekanayake maintains privleges at Oak Hill Hospital in Hernando county and is accepting new patients as well as walk-ins at his Spring Hill clinic.
Dr. Ekanayake is a firm believer in prompt quality care with a personal touch. He has made sure his office is well staffed with friendly bi-lingual people who understand the importance of comfort and care during each visit. For your convenience, he offers many on site tests and screenings such as:

Our offices are located throughout the state, but we have many offices in Spring Hill, Brooksville, Largo, Hudson, Tampa, and Beverly Hills Florida. Many of our Providers are PCP and work with Medicare.
