Dr. Lawandy Bolis, M.D. has been a Family Medicine Practitioner since 1987. He spent 14 years practicing in Egypt where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Zagazig University and received his Diplomate in Tropical Medicine and Gastroenterology from Elminia University. Dr. Bolis relocated to the United States and began working at North Shore Long Island Jewish Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, New York.

Dr. Bolis is Board Certified in Family Medicine and is accepting new patients from adolescents to geriatrics. He stresses preventative care with a highly proactive approach and ensures proper, regular screening and vaccinations, and most importantly, will make himself available to you when you need him. Dr. Bolis is committed to a personal approach to his patients and personally makes home follow-up and courtesy calls for his chronic cases. He also follows his patients at hospital admissions when needed.
