COPING WITH YOUR DAILY STRESSFUL LIFE
depressionLet us define what it means to LOSE before we can truly understand LOSS.

According to WEBSTER'S NEW WORLD COLLEGE DICTIONARY, to LOSE is to:
Come to be without

Fail to keep or maintain
Put somewhere subsequently forgotten
Have slip from sight, hearing or attention
Have taken from one by negligence, accident, death, disease, separation, removal (note: removal does include surgical procedures as well)

Access News
newspaper_boyThere are many current events in circulation at Access Health Care which we are excited to share with you. You may have heard all about The EyeSmart public awareness campaign which empowers Americans to take charge of their eye health. EyeSmart educates Americans on the risk factors for eye diseases, eye injuries and treatments that ophthalmologists can use to help prevent or alleviate such conditions. One sense that we take for granted on a daily basis is our ability to see. EyeSmart works hard to teach the public about the importance of wearing protective eye wear during a range of risky activities--from using household cleaners, to outdoor sports, to mowing the lawn and other lawn-care activities.

Access Heath Care would also like to announce that July is the month of Cord Blood Banking. The Cord Blood Banking Mission Statement states that, "today, a growing percentage of stem cell transplant patients are receiving cord blood to cure over 70 diseases. Seventy percent of patient

joythorneAccess Health Care would like to bestow the upcoming employee spotlight to Joy Thorne. Mrs. Thorne works at the compliance office, where she is the assistant to Lynda Benson, Chief Compliance Officer, and her regulatory team, who regard her as the nerve center, or crucial faction of their department. Joy Thorne joined Access Health Care only nine months ago, and she is already noted as an outstanding feature to her team.

Communication is the key element within all of our Access offices. However, Joy Thorne is the nerve center for any of the regulatory functions in her department. Not only does she communicate with everyone extremely well, but all of her co-workers agree that she is a pleasure to work with. Joy works diligently with the team which handles all of the outside audits and with the excellent team that handles all medical records. Because of their hard work, Access is constantly receiving kudos from those agencies for staying within compliance guidelines.

New Billing Director Introduction
megaphones
Hello!

My name is Joelle Hollowell and I am the new Director of Billing for Access Health Care. I was raised in Cincinnati and was blessed with a wonderful family; my husband Thomas, 3 kids, and 2 grandsons. Thomas spent 12 years as a firefighter/paramedic and is now a dialysis nurse at a Tampa clinic. My son Danny is a Marine currently stationed at Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia. He's had 2 tours in Iraq and will most likely be sent to Afghanistan later this year. He is a linguist/translator for the Corps; speaking Arabic, Farsi, and Pashto. Danny has 2 sons; Jeremiah (3 yrs.) and Caden (1 yr.). My middle son, Kevin, just graduated from college (UC) with a degree in Environmental Geology and is hoping to work for the EPA. My daughter Kelly is still in school working on her BA. I enjoy scuba diving, canoeing, and am quite the history buff. The Civil War and Egyptology fascinate me. I have been in Florida for only 3 years; mostly in Orlando.

A little about my work experi

Riddle of the Month - June
I am the most important thing,
Crouch like a lion,
Think like a man,

Have been on earth
Since civilization began.

Those who answer me
Are allowed to be;
Those who are unable,
I destroy.

I am an enigma,
An exotic mystery,
The harshest riddler
If ever can be.

Who am I?
